We love our house with its fireplace and two charming living rooms and a large eat in kitchen and 4 Full Bedrooms and 4 Full Bathrooms. Our master Suite is beautiful with 6 large windows. Every room has at least 2 windows. Our back porch is another room overlooking a charming flower garden. There is an exercise room in the basement with 2 stationary bikes, weights, yoga mats and a lot of equipment. A 3 minute walk takes you to a lovely and fun French restaurant, a woman's clothing store, a market, a drug store, a diner, a hair salon, a yoga and pilates studio and a cleaners. A 5 minute drive takes you to many restaurants, shops and movie theatre. The park is within walking distance with trails for hiking and biking. Also, being only 5 minutes from our nations capitol, The Mall and all the historic Museums are 25 minutes away by car, 10 minute ride on the Metro, and the Bethesda Metro Stop is a 15 minute walk, 5 minute drive from us.

Summary: We loved our stay at this wonderful house in Chevy Chase! The hosts, Harmon and Griff, were wonderful. They were generous, open hearted, thoughtful, and responsive. The house is beautiful, spacious, very comfortable, and in a beautiful location. The house is a short, comfortable walk to a lovely French restaurant and little market, and only a few minutes by car to many enjoyable places in the north DC area. You are 15-20 minutes from Dupont Circle, and even closer to Rock Creek Park, giving you dramatically different points of view of the city. We could not recommend this place more highly.
